"AWAKENING OF A DREAM"
I Raíssa Scholz Portela was born in Curitiba / PR in 1994. At 13 he started painting and discovered my artistic gift as a self-taught. In 2007, I began to paint with gouache on cardboard and Acrilex, my first paintings in the style surrealism.
And made my 1st exhibition in the school where I studied, I had enough response from teachers and students. Given this impact, then began the awakening of my dream. To which my paintings, screens and began to paint in oil. In 2008, with much sacrifice of my parents to pay for the materials of painting, and a lot of faith in God, I realized my 1st exhibition with the theme: ECOS (HORSES) simultaneously for 30 days with an average of 22 works, starting on day 02 / 04 and ended on 02/05. Held in the House of Culture in the town of Columbus and also in the Columbus Park Shopping / PR.
In the same year I was invited by the director of my college where he studied, to have new exhibitions now oil on canvas with bandage, my work, initiating several invitations to other exhibitions.
Sought from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Curitiba, entering on 14/05/08, the free Bacacheri Fair, which takes place every Sunday and participated in other major events and being invited by the news media Jocky Club of Paraná . To which my works were featured in Equestrian magazine, in Rio de Janeiro, Argentina and the United States.
Taking as my point, the dream of every artist, was to expose my works, the largest fair in Latin America, LARGO ORDER, in our capital, Curitiba, I want this done in May 2009. Today I teach painting in projects that help children and youth out of drugs, streets, etc..
Currently my mixed media oil on canvas and Raised, makes the difference in fair Largo da Ordem, and being admired and bought by Brazilian and foreign tourists. Having technical as well as graphite and charcoal on paper.
